PHOTOGRAPHIC PAPER P L A Y I N G WITH MY DRAWINGS 2012
Recto: graphite drawings on photographic paper which I didn’t fix. When exposed to light the color in the pictures changes due to a chemical reaction of the photographic paper. One day these drawings may become completely black. When not on display the drawings are stored in a black box so as to delay this process.
Verso: there is a scan of the original drawings, so that people can see how they were before the light took effect.
In the second picture you will find only a section of this installation which will allow you to take a closer look at the drawings.
The ‘BADGE’ with a surface area of 10m x 1.30m, which is made up of 480 of my drawings, is suited to both indoor and outdoor locations and made of plasticized sailcloth.
